Summary of Role: 

The Associate Specialist is responsible for tracking open shipments that are reflecting in multiple reports to ensure loads are picked & delivered on time. Tracking shipments on various tracking websites and contacting carrier and following up with them to make sure the appointments given for pickup & delivery by shipper/ consignee and update the pickup and delivery statuses. The Associate must possess excellent communication skills. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with Planner, carrier, and shipper to track shipments 
• Monitor shipments and track on multiple tracking site. 
• Get shipment status from planners, carriers and shippers via email or call 
• Ability to meet pressing deadlines with attention to detail. 
• Meet or exceed individual and team performance targets. 

Technical / Functional / Soft Skills: 

• Proven experience in a logistics, preferably in a similar industry. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
• Superior organizational and documentation skills 
• Basic knowledge of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS, Word, Excel and email drafting. 
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays, if required. 

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in any field. 
• Experience of 2-3 years of transportation and logistics
