We are looking for a commercially savvy, very senior sales individual to identify, grow, and nurture key advertising partnerships. You will need a proven record of accomplishment in delivering results, building relationships, and collaborating with other teams as you will be working with some of our most strategic clients. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Lead some of The Trade Desk’s most strategic relationships and opportunities within the Automotive vertical across EMEA and globally.  
  • Own relationships with commercial and contract leads at major Automotive clients 
  • Work collectively with greater global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to cultivate focused accounts and brands 
  • Take charge of internal operational processes, ensuring the team efficiently achieves strategic goals, delivers insightful reporting, and consistently exceeds performance expectations. 
  • Lead the development and execution of global account strategies, aligning with client goals and maximizing growth opportunities, and oversee the creation and implementation of joint business plans to achieve key objectives. 
  • Uncover core client business needs and challenges and communicate the value of partnering with The Trade Desk to solve them 
  • Participate in product road map prioritization discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering 
  • Take lead in responding to RFPs, including qualification & win strategy 
  • Build deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and specialty functions. 

 

Who you are 

We are looking for a commercially savvy, very senior sales individual to identify, grow, and nurture key clients. You’ll need a proven track record of delivering results, building relationships and collaborating with other teams as you’ll be working with some of our most strategic clients. 

  • A proven track record in digital advertising outbound sales 
  • Experience at an online publisher, broadcaster, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role 
  • Existing relationships with global and regional decision makers at major Auto brands and agencies 
  • Experience working across geographies in an overlay capacity with cross-functional teams  
  • Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships 
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts 
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to speak with C-level clients 
  • Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins 
  • Business fluent English and German 
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
