Our Purpose

As a key member of the team, the Process and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Project Manager – Product DNA offers a unique leadership opportunity to drive impactful change within the Medtronic Product DNA Program. This transformational, multi-year initiative aims to create a connected thread of non-transactional product data, supporting the entire product lifecycle and interfacing with the broader ecosystem, including PLM, MES, and ERP systems. The program will involve multiple projects and waves of deployment, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for innovation and leadership.

A Day in The Life Of:

  • Works closely with Research & Development in the development of Test methods to ensure that they are ready for the Test Method Validation (TMV) process.
  • Ensures all TMV’s are validated to meet the required TMV procedure and standards.
  • Takes direction from the quality core team member in delivering day to day project deliverables as an extended QCTM.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Perform systematic reliability analysis against features, requirements, architecture, interfaces, and designs, through the appropriate application of reliability engineering techniques (e.g. fault tree analysis, failure trending and analysis, reliability forecasting, etc.) to understand product and process robustness.
  • Understand risk management concepts used throughout the quality system to successfully meet FDA, ANSI/AAMI/ISO 14971:2019, and ANSI/AAMI/ISO 13485:2016 requirements.
  • You will lead strategies for test method validations, design verification and shelf-life protocols / reports.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Change Management interventions in a global environment May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Broad multi-functional business experience with project and people management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing successful projects and teams.
  • Experience implementing initiatives through effective influence management across multiple organizational levels.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, adeptness in change management, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills.
  • Experience leading efforts in operations processes within a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing sites across the network.
  • Experience with medical devices or pharmaceutical products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medtronic QMS policies and procedures.
