Job Description
The Role
Fidelity Center for Family Engagement is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of a small engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the best-in-class user experiments and experiences using technology, architecture, and dev-ops infrastructure of modern, customer-facing end-to-end systems.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5+ years’ experience developing dynamic web applications supported by RESTful web services
Advanced software development in AWS hosted services
AWS certifications e.g., Certified Developer and Solutions Architect preferred
Docker container development experience
Experience with Client-side development – Angular, NodeJS, NgRx, CSS, HTML
Bonus points for experience with Storybook JS, Ionic, Spring MVC/Spring Core/Web Services, API management software such as Apigee and knowledge of micro-frontends architecture
Strong experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.) and Spring Framework
Proven experience integrating with APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory; deploying applications in a DevOps environment
Experience working with databases, efficient use of SQL
Experience with logging and monitoring tools; DataDog, Splunk, etc. for observability, analysis, and alerting
Familiarity with enabling analytics for tracking and measuring metrics around user interactions
In-depth knowledge of secure coding standards and practices
Comfortable with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent)
Test/Automation (Jest, Cucumber, Mockito, Selenium or any other mocking framework)
You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
A good understanding of fundamental design principles for building a modular, scalable, and resilient platform
You build positive relationships with other team members and have excellent verbal and written communication
