North Down Specialists Referrals* are recruiting for a Bookings Administrator for join their team! This is a full-time permanent position. Your role of Bookings Administrator is to arrange appointments for clients in liaison with referring veterinary practices and NDSR clinicians and answer queries from clients and referring vet.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Booking consultations
  • Dealing with appointment request forms from referring vets-
  • Ensuring all information is correctly registered on the system-
  • Contacting owners to book the consultations
  • Sending clients and referring vets confirmation emails and information packs
  • Checking histories are in place prior to appointments (including all test results)
  • Ensuring referring vet is updated regarding appointments for their clients
  • Dealing with all enquiries via phone-calls/e-mails from owners and veterinary surgeons in a timely manner
  • Filtering advice requests for the clinicians
  • Manage the enquiries email inbox, ensure all information, results etc is registered and passed on to the relevant clinician in a timely manner.
 

Person specification
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who has a love for all animals and customer service!

 

Skills and attributes
- Must be a driver due to rural location
- IT Literate
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong administration skills
- Good attention to detail
- A strong team player
- Confident and friendly personality

 

Hours

This is a permenant, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday Friday (no bank holidays or weekends). Shifts of 08:00 17:00 or 10:00 19:00 on alternate weeks, with one hour lunch break.
