Summary: As a Senior Analyst – Middleware Administrator, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-grade middleware platforms. You will work extensively with IBM WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, and Azure-hosted infrastructure, supporting application deployments, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring environment stability and scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java-based middleware administration, a proactive approach to issue resolution, and the ability to work independently on complex, multi-tier enterprise environments. Basic knowledge of SAP Portal or SAP Hybris will be beneficial. Roles & Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server environments across development, QA, and production. - Manage and support Apache Tomcat environments including server setup, deployments, SSL configuration, and troubleshooting. - Perform JVM tuning, memory optimization, and performance tuning to ensure stable and scalable application platforms. - Support application deployments, upgrades, patching, and environment refresh activities. - Work with Azure cloud infrastructure for provisioning, deployment, networking, and environment management. - Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for middleware platforms. - Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth and successful releases. - (Good-to-Have) Support and basic troubleshooting for SAP Portal (Java Stack) and SAP Hybris Commerce applications hosted on middleware platforms. Professional & Technical Skills: - 5–7 years of hands-on experience in middleware administration and application server support. - Strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server – installation, configuration, clustering, tuning, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Apache Tomcat Administration – setup, deployment, SSL configuration, and issue resolution. - Solid understanding of Java web application architecture, WAR/EAR deployments, and JVM management. - Experience working with Azure cloud environments – provisioning, deployment automation, networking, and integration. - Hands-on experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning. - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting for automation, monitoring, and log analysis. - Exposure to SAP Portal (Java Stack) and SAP Hybris Commerce environments. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and containerized deployments. - Knowledge of reverse proxies (Apache/Nginx), SSL certificates, and enterprise-grade security configurations. - Experience with application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Splunk. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams. - Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver high-quality solutions under tight timelines. - Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously enhance technical skills. - Good documentation and reporting abilities for operational and incident-related activities. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server Application Deployment. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. - Certifications in IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or Azure Cloud will be considered an added advantage.
