In the newly created role of Maintenance System Technician, you are key to filling the gap we have on control of maintenance work and the records. You will drive our key management system, Agility, across the site and be the vital link between maintenance, utilities and the supported areas. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Add, allocate and oversee requested, scheduled and contractor work on to the system whilst managing the additions and removals.

  • Work closely with the maintenance and utilities team to continuously improve the system and driver user friendly processes 

  • To support in highlighting and quantifying key spares and parts and manage stock levels on site

  • As a Systems Key User, you monitor and audit the user access and work schedules. You will provide relevant the training for new users and escalate aging requests.

  • Able to use the information gathered to generate reports 

  • Support future improvements and driving proactive preventative maintenance 

  • Undertake training/further learning as required to further the develop the role. 

  • Successful Candidate will be required to undertake More Steam Green Belt Six Sigma certification

 
What You Have:

  • Successful Candidate will be required to undertake More Steam Green Belt Six Sigma certification

  • IT Skills: Confident using a computer, high level of attention to detail, able to confidently transfer data and documentation into systems and be able to generate reports.

  • Communication: Able to explain technical information simply both written and verbally.

  • People Skills: Confidently engage with all levels within the business and comfortable to be a trainer to others. 

  • Problem Solving/Continuous Improvement: Identifies key aspects of problem, explains the business impact and drives resolution.

 
Top Candidates Will Also Have: 

  • Knowledge/experience working with CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management Systems i.e. SAP, Agility, Maximo etc.)

What You Will Get:

Job Title: Maintenance System Technician
Salary: £32,588.69 rising to £36,123.87 as role specifics are hit

Benefits: 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays - opportunity to buy and sell, Production Bonus, Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%, Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution, optional flexible benefits including access to private health and dental care plans, EV car lease etc.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Desford, Leicestershire – flexible working will be considered in line with business need 
Hours: Full Time – 37.50 
Travel: Not required with this role
