Animal care includes but not limited to:

- checking pets in and out including weights, temperatures, checking for fleas, cleanup baths and brushing.

- feeding and watering pets

- walking canines

- administering medications to pets

- bathing patients

- charting patient records

Cleaning: kennels and all parts of the building

Assisting doctors, technicians and veterinary assistants:

- holding pets safely

- collecting samples for tests such as urine

- assisting with procedures, taking radiographs and lab work
