Job Description:

Job Title: Business Analyst

The Role

We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and analytically driven Business Analyst to join the Business Performance Measurement (BPM) team. In this role, you will partner closely with Finance, business, and Technology stakeholders to deliver cohesive, end‑to‑end data solutions that support enterprise priorities and decision‑making.

You will translate business needs into clear analytical and data requirements, support the design and reliability of data products, and contribute to the evolution of BPM’s data capabilities. This includes performing data testing and validation, researching data issues and emerging trends, supporting operational processes, and enabling both ad‑hoc and enterprise‑level analytics. You will also help facilitate data governance, manage communication related to data health and availability, and develop artifacts that ensure efficient and effective solution delivery.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Experience in finance or business analysis roles across multiple business areas
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to balance big‑picture thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for Technology teams
  • Experience with end‑user and business acceptance testing, including data validation and reconciliation
  • Proficiency in explaining, defending, and constructively challenging analytical findings with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and solve moderately complex problems in a deadline‑driven, ambiguous environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to “tell the story” with data to audiences at varying levels
  • Strong relationship‑building and consultative skills across Finance, business, and Technology partners
  • Confidence, business maturity, and presence to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Data and analytics experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar BI and visualization platforms
  • Experience working with SQL, including querying and manipulating data in Snowflake and other relational databases
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and apply creative solutions that challenge conventional approaches
