Hyundai Capital Services UK Ltd (HCUK) was established in 2012 as a joint venture between Santander Consumer UK (SCUK) and Hyundai Capital Services Korea. Job Purpose
The HR Administrator supports the HR Team with essential administrative and operational tasks. This role serves as the primary contact for daily HR queries, maintains accurate employee records, supports the employee lifecycle, and ensures smooth operation of routine HR processes and systems.
Key Accountabilities
1. Policy & Processes
Develop detailed guidelines for HR functions to ensure consistent service delivery.
Support the development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures within HCUK.
2. Enquiries
Monitor HR and Careers inboxes, respond or acknowledge queries (ideally within 48 hours).
Handle enquiries per agreed procedures, escalate when necessary, and document processes as knowledge grows.
3. Recruitment & Selection
Administer recruitment processes including advertising roles internally and with SCUK.
Prepare and distribute CVs, update recruitment trackers, arrange interviews, and facilitate candidate vetting.
4. Onboarding / Offboarding
Send contract documents to candidates, verify completion, and file accordingly.
Coordinate checklists, liaise with Facilities and IT teams, organise induction packs, onboarding meetings, and exit interviews.
5. Employee Records
Administer HR Information System (HRIS), employee benefits, sickness records, references, payroll, training, invoicing, vetting, and maintain detailed records.
6. Learning Management System (LMS)
Manage LMS for new joiners, leavers, and movers.
Allocate training modules and provide monthly reports on training completion status.
7. Enterprise Risk / Compliance
Support HR Management in providing documentation for monthly quality assurance checks.
Identify risks, incidents, and breaches in accordance with company policies and procedures.
8. Events
Assist with corporate events, training, and volunteering activities.
Engage suppliers for quotes and invoices, confirm employee attendance, and manage meeting bookings.
9. Office Support
Provide support for Facilities Coordinator and Executive Assistant during their absence.
Manage facilities inbox, car hire schemes, premises management, health & safety, and distribute weekly newsletters.
Support minute-taking duties as needed.
10. Drive Employer Brand
Support and promote employee engagement with company initiatives to enhance HCUK’s culture and brand.
11. Stakeholder Engagement
Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including SCUK HR Function.
12. Technical Knowledge
Maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of employment law.

Key Expertise
Essential:
Experience in administrative or support roles.
Proficiency in producing high-quality documentation including Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters related to employment law and health & safety.
Desirable:
Prior HR administrative experience.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues.
Familiarity with HR software and datasets.
Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a proactive approach managing multiple tasks across functions.
Remuneration Packages
Salary range of £26,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
Annual Bonus: Up to 15%
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays, with flexible holiday scheme option
Pension: Contributions up to 12.5% by HCUK depending on employee contribution
Voluntary Benefits Allowance: £500 per annum, payable as cash or benefits
