What You Will Contribute:
 

The Supply Chain Project Manager oversees multiple projects and initiatives to improve Supply Chain processes and performance at Badger Meter. This role also serves as a trusted resource for multiple functional areas; providing information, guidance, and support in the completion of tactical and strategic initiatives. The Supply Chain Project Manager supports Badger Meter's performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Culture, and Environment. 

Job Duties:

  • Run the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning for Water Quality and Network Monitoring meetings and work with Site Operations and Materials & Planning teams to collect and report data as a part of Badger Meter's Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning(SIOP) process.

  • Serve as a liaison between multiple functional areas to complete projects and tasks - both formal and ad-hoc.

  • Work with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to provide guidance and insight for assigned product lines.

  • Work with Materials & Planning to provide analysis of data and recommend updates to MRP in support of inventory and revenue goals for assigned product lines.

  • Act as a resource for implementing best practices across multiple Badger Meter facilities.

  • Lead and execute Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Projects as assigned.

  • Up to 25% travel required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance desired.

  • 3+ years of experience in Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Warehousing, Distribution desired.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required

  • Intermediate MRP/ERP experience preferred

  • Advanced Project Management skills required
