Our Distribution Center in Dordrecht is looking for Team Lead.

The Warehouse Lead will execute goals by communicating clearly and effectively with leadership and Warehouse Associates to ensure constant order flow.

What will you do?

General Duties

• Lead daily departmental start up meetings to communicate daily goals and special announcements.
• Use WIP (Work in Progress) Report to analyze areas of improvement and ensure associates are on track to meet goals.
• Learn and master SOPs in various departments.
• Run and monitor reports from Warehouse Management (WM) System, communicating results to team.
• Manage customer requirements.
• Conduct Warehouse Associate coaching and observations to monitor utilization, pace and methods
• At end of shift, ensure area is ready for the next shift, and that Warehouse Associates have returned all equipment to be charged or readied for next shift
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required
• Please be aware that you are not able to reach the DC with Public transportation

Essential Functions

Hours and Shift Schedule

• Availability to work 8-10 hours per day, 5 days per week. Must also be able to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, a rotating schedule.
• Working in shifts from 06:00-15:00/15:00-00:00. This will be a weekly rotation.

Computer Skills

• Ability to perform or learn basic computer skills

Basic Math Functions

• Ability to complete basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Communication

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operating instructions.
• Ability to ask questions to gain a clear understanding of instruction and processes.
• Ability to hear and understand oral instructions from supervisors and emergency announcements.

Physical Skills

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per day.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects of up to 50 pounds a distance of several feet.
• Frequently required to squat, kneel, stoop, twist and bend
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

Who are you?

Minimum Education

• MBO IV Logistiek Supervisor

Minimum Experience

4+ years warehouse experience, with proficiency in each department

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible to change, and willingness to move around to other areas
• Experience providing direction/coaching employees
• Experience monitoring/measuring with through WH and labor management
• Proven ability to oversee multiple groups of employees while focusing on performance and quality metrics
• Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment

Preferred additional skills and abilities and experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
