Senior Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery – Queens Campus

We're seeking an experienced PA to take front line responsibility. Together, we use our brains and hearts to provide the highest level of care imaginable. In the process, experience all the reasons we entered our noble field. 

A leader in high-tech computerized diagnostic and treatment methods, the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital treats the full spectrum of neurological disease — from brain tumors, spine tumors; stroke, aneurysms and cerebrovascular disorders and epilepsy to Parkinson's disease, MS, and other movement disorders. As a Neurosurgery PA at NYP Queens Hospital, you will manage all aspects of care for patients on the neurosurgical team, including floor management of complex inpatients, responding to neurosurgical emergencies including trauma and stroke, and first assisting in the OR. 

This is Full-Time, 37.5 hours a week opportunity. This position will be 12 Hour shifts from 6:00AM to 6:00PM with one one Saturday and Sunday per month. This is a hospital based position.

Preferred Criteria

• Neurosurgical experience highly preferred 

Required Criteria 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies 

• Current NYS licensure 

• NCCPA certification 

• DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) registration number 

• ACLS/BLS

$144,500-$205,000/Annual
