As the Senior Onboarding & Provider Specialist at Sollis Health you will serve as a subject matter expert for all new hire onboarding, provider credentialing and on-going provider monitoring and initiatives nationally across Sollis locations. You will ensure compliance with all relevant Sollis policies as well as State and Federal regulations, standards, and policies, while working to maintain accuracy and completeness. 

Responsibilities: 

Onboarding 

  • Provide white glove service to onboard new Sollis Health hires, corporate, administrative and clinical, ensuring they complete all necessary paperwork in our onboarding and HRIS systems and with any external partners.   
  • Initiate and clear the background check process for all new hires.  
  • Collect and process I9s documentation and submit to E-Verify. 
  • Collect employee health clearance documents and partner with the regional medical teams for clearance.  
  • Review current onboarding & credentialing processes and identify areas for improvement.   

Credentialing  

  • Facilitate the credentialing process for all providers, including but not limited to, verification of education, training, and primary source verification.  
  • Query National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), other relevant national databases and organizations for Provider information and collect malpractice audit history. 
  • Partner with the Regional Medical Directors for Sollis skills credentialing verification during onboarding and our internal skills credentialing process post hire. 
  • Ensure ACP Practice and Collaborative Agreements are processed internally and any state requirements are met for new hires and renewals. 
  • Maintain on-going monitoring tool and database of provider license, certifications and renewal dates and proactively reach out to employees to obtain updated documentation.  
  • Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations related to risk management in credentialing. 
  • Assist with any provider or credentialing project or initiative that may arise. 

Licensing  

  • Partner with vendor and/or state or professional boards to obtain new licenses or certifications for providers and submit for renewals as requested.  

Cross Functional Collaboration  

  • Assist with launching and maintaining CME training course offerings in Sollis’ Learning Management System in partnership with the broader People Ops team.  
  • Maintain CME & Professional Development reimbursement tracking for providers assisting with policy enhancements. 
  • Be point of contact for Providers with any general questions they have throughout their career at Sollis 
  • Provide backup HRIS support to the HR Generalist as needed 
  • Provide general People team project support as needed 
  • Performs related duties as requested  

 

 

Qualifications 

  • Associate's degree or higher required  
  • 3+ years of Credentialing experience required 
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred. 
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards 
  • Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and auditory  

 

Comp & Benefits:  

Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year 

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in New York City. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
