Gainesville Veterinary Hospital is searching for a self-motivated individual to join our team as our next kennel technician.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Putting patient care as your highest priority
Providing care for pets such as potty walks and clean water
Unboxing clinic deliveries
Maintaining supply levels throughout the hospital
Maintaining a clean and sterile work environment
Laundry, garbage services, kennel cleaning
Exam room and isolation protocol cleaning
Assisting with animal restraint
Other miscellaneous tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
Being able to work as a team member and independently
Handle stressful situations with composure
Must be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude
Confident customer service presence with our clients
Reliable transportation
Physical Abilities:
Push/Pull/Lift of up to 40 pounds is a regular part of the job duties (without assistance)
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
