Join Vanguard’s Enterprise Data Architecture team and help shape the future of our AI-Ready Data Strategy. This critical role will help define and evolve the enterprise data architecture blueprint, ensuring our data ecosystem is scalable, secure, and optimized for AI capabilities. You’ll collaborate across subdivisions to establish standards, patterns, and frameworks that enable trusted, high-quality data for the enterprise. Responsibilities:

• Designs database, data models, data warehouse applications and Business Intelligence reports through the use of best practices and tools.

• Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses, translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions for client, delivers high quality data architect related outcomes including data warehouse designs and data system enhancements in accordance with existing standards and guidelines.

• Analyzes business needs, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on the future of data architect development.

• Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.

• Resolves routine issues with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Data Modeling and Data Lakehouse technologies required.

• AWS Services.

• Data Architecture experience required.

• Databricks, semantic modeling and divisional modeling preferred.

• Minimum of ten years related work experience, with at least five years of technology architect experience.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
