The opportunity:
We have an opportunity available for an experienced business development professional to join our team as a Key Account Associate. Based in Sydney and reporting to the National Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of agreed AIA Financial Wellbeing sales, including excellent service to our partners, brokers and their support staff within a framework of strong corporate governance.
To do this successfully you will:
- Contribute to AIAFW growth ambitions by meeting predetermined sales targets and driving improved referral volume
- Pro-active business development and a strong ability to identify key strategic partners to enable the growth aspiration of AIAFW
- Prepare detailed monthly partner reporting and assist with insights to drive enhanced engagement with aggregators and individual broker partners
- Assist with on-boarding of new brokers, brokerages and nurture quality engagement throughout their AIAFW journey
- Drive profitable and sustainable growth by understanding business drivers, costs and revenue
- Cultivate and steer meaningful relationships with thousands of independent broker operators to enable mutually beneficial outcomes for brokers, customers and AIA including building trust and advocacy
- Drive progressive MoM increase in broker registrations across aggregators
- Attend partner events to support and drive the AIAFW proposition
- Promote customer-centric commercial behaviour by consistently displaying behaviours that encourage productive working relationships and a strong performance culture
- External stakeholder engagement and act as a critical contact for referral partners across thousands of independent broker operators, external sales teams, and their associated management.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a business development role, ideally in the Advice or Insurance industries
- Experience working within the mortgage broking space or in banking would be highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey messaging across a variety of mediums
- Strong relationship management skills and experience
- A solid understanding of general advice and advice frameworks
- Being commercially astute and numerate with strong analytical skills
- Exceptional presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Event management skills would be highly regarded
