About the Role

Accenture is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer with proven Automotive industry experience to build and maintain embedded software powering next‑generation vehicle platforms. You will join our Industry X practice in Gothenburg and collaborate with industry-leading experts across our global network to help our clients build cutting-edge solutions.

Industry X is Accenture’s capability focused on engineering and manufacturing transformation — it’s about how products are designed, built, connected, and operated across their entire lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software components across the product lifecycle (design → implementation → testing → release)
• Implement robust, efficient features in C/C++ for embedded targets
• Work with Embedded Linux or QNX environments depending on platform needs
• Contribute to system integration and debugging, including performance and stability improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into high-quality embedded solutions
• Participate in code reviews and support quality practices (unit/integration testing, defect triage)

Required Skills:

• Automotive embedded software experience (production / series development strongly preferred)
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ in embedded contexts
• Hands-on knowledge of in‑vehicle communication concepts (e.g., vehicle networks / in-vehicle integration)
• Experience with QNX or Embedded Linux
• Solid debugging skills and ability to work close to hardware constraints (memory, timing, performance)

Very good to have (some of the following):

• Android Automotive
• AUTOSAR Adaptive
• Hypervisor
• SOME/IP

On top / bonus experience:

• Performance analysis, tracing, or logging
• Automotive Ethernet
• UDS and DoIP diagnostics
• QEMU simulation
• RTOS
