$18.85 - $28.30Major Responsibilities: The Cafe Worker is an ambassador of the Food & Nutrition Department providing exemplary customer service and customer interaction. This individual must also maintain all department cash handling standards with flawless execution. Specific daily assined tasks are also to be executed as set forth 1)Get starting bank and count opening drawer. 2)Responsible for all starting bank monies. All must be counted to the department specified starting bank total. Any variances are reported to management/supervisors. All Cashier Reports are sgned in after verification 3)Recieves daily tasks lists from supervisors.Reviews all service areas and enacts upon any deficiencies in these areas to ensure customer satisfaction. Works together with other retail staff in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction 4)Must be able to work independently in all retail areas with a sense of urgency maintains all santiation areas in cafe, all service areas, and dining areas 5)Attends all preservice meetings and is an active participant. Replenish all POS impulse items for service periods. Check Bottle Beverages, Chips, milks and all coffee areas. Check expiration dates milk, yogurt. Replenish and refresh as needed. Check cash drawer and inform supervisor of any funds needed prior to peak service periods 6)Cafe Worker also ensures that all signage is posted and is correct for service both in the cafe and the front entrance way. all signage is clean and free of smudges/debris 7)Maintain register area at all peak times providing exemplary customer service. Enusres that all monies are counted back to the customer and provides proper receipts to all customers. 8) 9)Counts down bank at the end of the day. all register deposits are secured in an envelope/sealed. All necessary cash paperwork is properly filled out with signatures and completed in full. All register receipts are attached to the cash report along with any credit card receipts. All customer coupons and department charge paperwork is properly conmpleted with appropraite signatures on receipts attached to coupons and catering charge slips. Verifys with supervisor at the end of the shift all monies aresecure and deposits are properly dropped. Adheres to all Cash Policies and requirements and signs all necessary paperwork- Overages and underages are communicated and are kept to a minimum as per cash policy Prepare cash drawer for next day. Follow opening drawer guidelines. 10)Check out with Manager/ Supervisor before clocking out for review of completion of task lists.. Education/Experience Required: High Schoold Education or equivalent. Foodservice experience is preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Ability to read, write and speak and understand the English language effectively communicating with all retail customers and associates. Basic math Skills none required Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20-50 pounds occassionally nd/pr 10-25 pounds frequently and/or 10 pounds constantly. Large amounts of bending as related to essetila job activities. Large amounts of time standing as related to essetial job activities. This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available.
