The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all service operations, including customer relations, P&L budgeting for the department, training of service employees, management of service technicians’ work area, prioritization of work orders, and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. Service Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Service Operations Management: Lead and oversee all service operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Financial Management: Manage P&L budgeting for the service department to achieve financial targets and objectives.
• Employee Training & Development: Provide training, coaching, and support to service employees to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Work Area Management: Supervise and manage the service technicians’ work area to ensure organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Work Order Prioritization: Prioritize and allocate work orders effectively to meet customer needs and operational requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by service technicians and staff.

Service Manager Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Management Experience: 2-5 years of experience in management or supervision of repair, installation, service, support, or other leadership roles.
• Administrative Skills: Strong administrative, organizational, and service-oriented capabilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets.
• Leadership Qualities: Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate others with a quick learning ability.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
