Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients and projects. Your typical day will involve leading a team of software developers, collaborating with multiple teams, and making key decisions to provide solutions for various projects and entities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead a team of software developers to ensure successful project delivery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope. - Manage the software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, coding, testing, and deployment. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. - Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges faced by the team. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB/Mongo DB, PostgreSQL. - Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices. - Experience with data integration, data modeling, and ETL processes. - Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. - Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. - Knowledge of database systems and SQL. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. - Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
