As a Principal Performance Architect in the Advanced System Architecture Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with the memory industry's leading architecture team on new concepts that will craft the future of electronic systems!
Delivering architectures and innovative solutions to optimize power and performance of next-generation memory & storage subsystems! Working with design and system architecture teams to identify key system requirements, mitigate the current bottlenecks, and propose novel solutions for a wide range of applications. These activities will entail:
The scope of this analysis will span from the low-level software stack (operating system, drivers, etc.) down to the hardware and firmware controllers. You should have very strong knowledge of computer architecture and deep understanding sophisticated blocks such as caches, interconnects, memory controllers, etc. while working in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for crafting innovative solutions, modeling, and analyzing them to demonstrate their benefits and tradeoffs.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$143,000.00 - $311,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
