The Opportunity:


CACI’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is hiring an Operations Manager to assist with leading a large, mission critical Voice over IP (VoIP) / unified communications / contact center modernization effort.

The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

The Operations manager oversees daily business activities, ensuring compliance, and efficiency focusing on contract deliverables, strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and process improvement. The individual will bridge strategic goals with tactical execution, managing information flow, performance metrics, and stakeholder communication for successful contract delivery and organizational growth. This position may involve travel to different sites in the National Capital Region. The individual must also be able to manage multiple concurrent efforts while ensuring customer expectations are being managed and met. The individual must also be able to keep up with a fast-paced fielding schedule and have an active secret clearance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing project performance while meeting key project milestones.  The individual will be accountable to the program manager and customer regarding any issues or concerns while being proactive in alerting the program manager of potential issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the VMOD PM and the government customer to identify key priorities and ensure those priorities are addressed.
  • Proactively get in front of issues and identify solutions for removing impediments.           
  • Work with Risk Management to identify and manage risks and maintain status updates in the Risk Register.           
  • Ensure the project stays on schedule and be able work with leads to identify and work through any impediments.          
  • Work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.          
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to the customer contacts and the VMOD PM.           
  • Provide guidance/mentor junior members of the team.         
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$84,900 - $178,400
