The Role
As an HR Operations Specialist, EMEA, you will help shape how HR Operations scales across a complex and fast-moving region. You will own and continuously improve key people processes, building solutions that are accurate, efficient, and designed to create a seamless employee experience.
In this role, you will partner closely with HRBPs, Payroll, HR People Technology, and other cross-functional stakeholders to solve problems, simplify workflows, and strengthen operational excellence. Your work will directly influence how we support employees, manage risk, and build smarter, more scalable HR operations across EMEA.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end delivery and continuous improvement of key HR Operations processes across EMEA, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, scalable, and resilient.
- Use data, trends, and recurring patterns to identify opportunities early, uncover root causes, and design proactive solutions that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Resolve complex and sensitive HR cases with sound judgment, balancing consistency, policy, business context, and employee needs.
- Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, HR People Technology, and other stakeholders to improve workflows, clarify requirements, and strengthen cross-functional ways of working.
- Lead operational projects from discovery through implementation, including scoping, stakeholder alignment, process design, change management, and follow-through on deliverables.
- Contribute expertise in Workday and ServiceNow/HRSD to support reporting, process design, system enhancements, testing, and ongoing operational effectiveness.
- Build clear documentation, frameworks, and operating standards that help the team work more consistently and scale effectively across countries and functions.
- Support the growth of the broader team by sharing knowledge, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and raising the bar on operational judgment and execution.
What You Bring
- Strong experience in HR Operations within an international, matrixed environment, with ownership of complex processes from intake through resolution and continuous improvement.
- Deep knowledge of HR operations practices and strong capability in systems such as Workday and ServiceNow/HRSD, including reporting, process execution, and support for system enhancements.
- Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate findings into practical recommendations, structured action plans, and measurable process improvements.
- Strong judgment when handling sensitive employee matters, including knowing when to resolve independently, when to escalate, and how to communicate with credibility and care.
- Confidence partnering with stakeholders across geographies, functions, and levels, with the ability to influence decisions and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
- Experience leading projects or workstreams independently, including defining scope, aligning stakeholders, managing timelines, and delivering outcomes.
- Knowledge of labor compliance considerations across EMEA and ability to apply that understanding in day-to-day operational decisions.
- Experience supporting statutory reporting, user acceptance testing, requirements gathering, or HR systems change initiatives.
- Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, with the ability to use data to support decision-making and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset, including a willingness to share expertise, coach others, and contribute to a stronger team environment.
