What you'll be doing
As a Senior Consultant, Network Analytics you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of CIBC’s distribution channels. You’ll exercise considerable judgment on complex issues, acting as a thought partner and providing strategic advice and recommendations to support the development and evaluation of channel plans. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll synthesize technology and process planning across various products and lines of business, identifying opportunities to improve high-level requirements for frontline employees. You’ll drive innovation by generating original ideas that help evolve our channels toward digital and mobile solutions, all while being accountable to broadly defined policy objectives. Your work will contribute to advancing CIBC’s presence and influence within the external delivery planning community.

How you'll succeed
Channel Planning & Advisory – Provide highly specialized advice and guidance to senior management and client groups within physical distribution planning.
Research & Strategy Development – Conduct self-directed research and development to create new, emerging business and network distribution strategies.
Geographic Analysis & Problem Solving – Apply unique, specialized data and software for geographic-based problem solving, identifying business growth opportunities and supporting strategy implementation.
Documentation & Communication – Document findings for presentation to senior executives and collaborate with internal partners to enhance research outcomes.
External Relations & Efficiency Improvement – Liaise with the external delivery planning community to promote CIBC’s interests and identify opportunities for increasing efficiency in NSP approaches and processes.
Performance Tracking – Track and report on the performance of Branch and ATM network reconfigurations to ensure continuous improvement.
Who you are
You have a strong academic background. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Geography or Urban Planning (a Master’s degree is an asset).
You’re skilled in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You have hands-on experience in both using and managing GIS tools and applications.
You understand economic geography and industry analysis. You’re knowledgeable about retail delivery planning, Canadian retail, and financial services markets.
You’re an effective communicator. You demonstrate influence, negotiation, and presentation skills, with strong written and oral communication abilities.
You’re proficient with core computer applications. You’re comfortable using Word, Excel, and Access to support your work.
