Purpose

Responsible for customer service, event set up, and in-person and virtual event support at the Thompson Conference Center.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting up rooms and spaces, including moving tables and chairs.
  • Providing customer service, assisting clients’ general needs during events.
  • Setting up audiovisual equipment and computers.
  • Hosting Streamed Events, Hybrid Live Events, Videography and Online Learning Facilitation, Technology Support for virtual events using zoom and other virtual meeting software.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  •  Basic Customer Service Skills
  • Basic Communication Skills
  •  Familiarity with different operating systems
  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience with audio equipment or video equipment
