Sam’s Club In Club Systems team is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive the transformation of Club systems, improving associate and member experience of Club operation. The role involves close collaboration with business teams, senior architects, and leadership to design and deliver scalable solutions impacting a large retail operation.Platform Engineering Leadership:
Lead engineering and product delivery: Manage and guide developers to build and deploy solutions at scale, own the technical roadmap, and oversee end-to-end product delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to execute multiple business plans and technologies, and foster cross-disciplinary teamwork for multi-channel shopping challenges.
• Team development and leadership: Hire, develop, and retain strong engineering talent while promoting company values, ethics, and effective communication across global teams.
• Required qualifications and skills: Candidates should have an engineering degree, over 11 years of experience including leadership of agile Scrum teams, strong Java/J2EE and microservices expertise, production support experience, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Retail or e-commerce background is advantageous.

Our team is a part of Supply Chain Technology at Sam’s club. We are in the process of transforming our replenishment systems to improve stock availability of our products in our warehouses and clubs.
