SAP Testing Specialist

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will implement the testing and qualification processes for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and platform. This role is a guide in developing and completing manual and automated testing in an agile environment. The test coordinator ensures the quality and compliance of the work packets made by the various ERP delivery teams in a Life Sciences environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Test planning and execution the (automated) testing and qualification results of SAP ERP systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform test preparation, functional, integration, regression, and performance (automated) testing
  • Defect Management: Identify, report, and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with ERP projects and product teams, Quality Assurance, and business collaborators to define testing requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain critical testing documentation, including IQ, OQ, test scripts, defects and traceability matrices.
  • Stay current with GxP regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance and readiness for audits.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to craft, develop, and complete test strategies
  • Automation: Prepare and implement testing using automated testing tools

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR

Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR

Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of SAP testing experience in a regulated environment.
  • Testing documentation proficiency: Expertise in creating and handling testing documentation, including IQ, OQ, test scripts and defect reporting
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge having an understanding of GxP regulations.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies for software delivery.
  • Experience with testing tools, automated testing tools and validations tools such as CDOCs, ALM, UiPath and JIRA.

Professional Certifications (please mention if the certification is preferred or required for the role):

  • SAP certification (preferred)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong capability to analyze complex issues and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborator interactions and documentation.
  • High degree of precision in handling testing and testing documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to focus on team collaboration and achieving project goals.
