Tate & Lyle, a worldwide food and industrial ingredient company, is seeking a Process Control Technologist for a full time maintenance position.

The preferred candidate will have an ASEET / BSEET and 3 or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing process control setting.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and solving software / hardware controls issues throughout the plant.  The preferred candidate will provide daily communication with other plant personnel through a plant wide computer system including email and SAP.

Qualifications include the following:

  • Possession of a good safety minded attitude
  • Communication skills and computer proficiency with MS Office products
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Operating systems
  • Sound ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in a client/server scenario

    Experience in the following will be considered a plus:

  • RSLogix programming in ladder and function block
  • Factory Talk View SE programming
  • RSLinx and RSLinx Enterprise
  • Setup and troubleshooting of Variable Frequency Drives
  • Setup and troubleshooting field instruments such as flow, level, pressure, pH
  • Experience with OSI-Pi data historian
  • Visual Basic programming
