Production Team Leader

Objective of the Function

Lead production teams to seamless production flow, fulfilling the production plan in accordance with policy, knowledge and application of customer specific requirements.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Assists supervisor with planning, organizing, and coordinating production operations in the assigned department.
• Coordinates and supports work team activities which include but are not limited to meeting daily production schedules and parts tracking.
• Responsible for improving operating standards, efficiency and cost-saving projects
• Maintain and control all required administration for the assigned area.
• Arrange discussion for the staff on a regular basis.
• Ensuring safety regulations are observed.
• Know and follow Quality Policies/procedures (BOS,QS9000,ISO standards) related to the function as per supervisors’ directions.
• Maintain discipline of the team
• Perform ad hoc duties as and when required.

General:

• EHS:

- Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.

- Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls.

- Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies.

• Quality:

- Apply, execute and maintain function related management system issues

- Knowledge of Customer requirements where applicable.

- In addition to the above-mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

• Minimum: Technical/associate degree or Equivalent
• At least 4 years of similar experience, and/or experience in the Manufacturing environment
• Experience leading teams to high performance
• Ability to train and coach others
• Basic IT skills
• Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace
• Ownership and Commitment
• Good Communication
