About the role

What you need to know

Travel Guard is currently seeking a Team Leader for our Medical Assistance Department to assist our management team with the day-to-day operations and play a vital role in employee development.  This position will supervise and monitor representatives on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule, provide performance feedback, assist representatives as needed and will handle supervisory calls.

Technical Skills and Expertise

Qualified candidates must have a passion for helping people.  The Medical Assistance Team Leaders supply support to coordinators in a 24/7 environment.  Routine items include mentoring and guiding coordinators through cases, call monitoring, case reflection and one-on-ones.  Responsibilities also include floor support during scheduled times; schedule adherence, distribution of work and guidance on cases are some of the actions required during floor time; along with other duties as defined.  

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong time management skills
  • Professional verbal/written communication skills
  • The ability to work well with people at all levels.
  • Applicants must have leadership experience OR one year experience working with Travel Guard/American Express products.

Position Schedule

This is a full time position. 2nd shift. All shifts work Monday through Friday, rotating every-other weekend (with two weekdays off when weekends are worked).
