This role is ideal for a student with strong analytical skills and interest in AI‑enabled process improvement.

The following are some of the specific responsibilities generally incumbent on the post holder:

AI & Automation Development

• Lead small‑scope improvement projects from scoping to rollout.
• Map existing supply chain processes using standard methodologies (SIPOC, swimlanes, BPMN, etc.).
• Build decision trees and process logic diagrams that feed AI or automation workflows.
• Develop and configure Power Automate flows, automation scripts, or low‑code tools to remove manual work and improve accuracy.
• Explore and prototype Agentic AI tools (analysis agents, task‑orchestration bots, email drafting agents, workflow copilots).
• Document business cases, expected benefits, and proposed solutions.

Implementation & Support

• Work with planners, procurement, inventory, and analytics teams to validate requirements.
• Document processes, solutions, and benefits.
• Prepare training materials and support rollout and change management.

Operational Support

• Support routine supply chain activities (delivery tracking, data extraction, dashboard updates, KPI analysis) when needed.
• Assist analysts and managers in identifying new automation opportunities.
• Document all processes and maintain clear project records.

Section B - Qualifications for the position

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required for this position.

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in supply chain, operations, engineering, analytics, or business technology.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in process automation.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI (asset or requirement depending on preference).
• Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts or willingness to learn quickly.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL or Python is an asset.
• Good communication skills; organized, detail‑oriented, autonomous.
• Bilingual (French & English).
• Theoretical knowledge of logistics, procurement, operations management and demand planning. 
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good judgment in planning and sequencing various activities according to priority.
• Dynamic, positive and assiduous.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
