PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. ("PJM") is the nation's first and largest Regional Transmission Organization (RTO), coordinating the movement of wholesale electricity and ensuring power system reliability across multiple states.
The Analyst, FERC supports PJM's federal regulatory through policy analysis, research, stakeholder support, and development of policy recommendations. This role monitors developments at FERC across PJM's footprint and other involving other Regional Transmission Organizations and provides analytical insights to support regulatory engagement, strategic decision-making, and policy advocacy efforts.
The Analyst works closely with Legal and Governmental Service team leadership, as well as PJM’s Communications, Markets, Planning, and Operations teams to evaluate emerging FERC policy issues and assess their potential impact on PJM's mission and business objectives.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Policy, Law, or related field
At least 5 years of experience with analytical, research, writing, and presentation skills.
Experience reviewing and interpreting legislative and regulatory materials.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
Ability to visualize and solve complex problems
Experience using verbal and written communications skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
Preferred
Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Energy Policy, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience with state utility regulation or energy policy.
Familiarity with PJM markets, operations, planning functions, and stakeholder governance processes.
Knowledge of state legislative and regulatory processes. Experience developing executive-level reports and policy briefings.
