The Sr. Associate Director of Recruitment for the Jefferson College of Nursing (JCN) in the Lehigh Valley is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on recruitment strategies and tactics that create pipelines into JCN’s undergraduate and graduate programs in the Lehigh Valley. This position is focused on direct recruitment, demand generation, and developing and nurturing partnerships and relationships that will support enrollment pathways; to that end, the Sr. Associate Director will collaborate extensively with colleagues within JCN, enrollment management, partner institutions and corporations, affinity and influencer groups, and our internal administrative and academic partners.

This position is located in the Lehigh Valley and the incumbent is expected to reside in reasonable proximity to campus.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Demand Generation Collaborations:  work with JCN, JEM’s Enrollment Strategy & Engagement team, and Marketing to develop and execute strategies that will create awareness and drive interest in the Jefferson College of Nursing programs in the Lehigh Valley.
  • Direct Recruitment:  conduct activities that will generate interest and application to the Jefferson College of Nursing Programs in the Lehigh Valley including off-campus, on-campus, and virtual events & visits.
  • Partnership Development: work with internal and external stakeholders to explore and establish formal partnerships and informal relationships that will create enrollment pathways between our partners (schools, institutions, corporations, community groups) and the University.
  • Partnership Management: ensure the successful implementation of agreements and strategies by nurturing and maintaining relationships with our partners.
  • Website: ensure that our website is optimized to promote our partnerships and pipeline opportunities and to feature and accurately reflect the JCN in Lehigh Valley programs.
  • Asset Development & Management: work with internal teams to develop effective and compelling assets associated with recruitment efforts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: produce reports and insights related to recruitment scope of work; adjust strategies and tactics in response to data.
  • Staff Management: directly manage employees as assigned and/or support leadership in the oversight and mentorship of staff members within the team.
  • Budget Management: manage funds allocated to area of responsibility.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Communications, MBA, Marketing, or Higher Education Leadership/Administration is preferred

AND

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience in an undergraduate and/or graduate admissions office is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Nursing program admission is preferred
  • Experience using Slate by Technolutions experience is preferred
