Zayo is seeking a Fleet Manager.
Responsibilities
Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet which is currently 1,300 vehicles
Monitoring regular maintenance on all vehicles
Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
Manage FMC performance to ensure fleet reliability and availability.
Managing vehicle licensure and registration
Ensuring all fleet members have proper license and vehicle documents on hand.
Providing reports to management on fuel, lease, and maintenance spend as required by Zayo Management
Processing fleet related invoices according to Zayo’s GL codes.
Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
Qualifications
The position will require outstanding critical thinking and decision-making process, the anticipation of risky business situations with deliberate and swift response to the same.
The position will require some travel and access/availability to serve the needs of the business on a 24/7 basis.
The individual must possess outstanding written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills as they interface with subordinates, peers, customers, and vendors.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, safety, or related technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience required.
Five (5) years of fleet management experience preferred
Estimated base salary range: $87,600 - $118,000 USD/annually.
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
