CommBank’s Market Operations business is looking for an Associate to join our Pre-Trade Operations – Client Data team which sits within our Traded Products Operations function designed to provide extensive support for our Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) front-office clients.
Our Traded Products Operations team is responsible for several functions that support our Markets and Treasury Businesses including collateral and Margining, Trade Support, Commodity Operations, OTC Regulatory Operations and Pre-Trade Operations.
This is a 6 month Max Term oppotunity, which is a great way to deepen your markets experience within CommBanks Market Operations department.
The Role.
Within Traded Products Operations we will support our Global Markets clients by processing, settling, and investigating inward/outward real time payments and by actioning further confirmations, reconciliations and financial markets products spanning FX, derivatives, commodities, and Fixed Income asset classes.
As an Associate within our Pre-Trade Operations – Client Data team, you will be responsible for maintaining client data, including name, address, portfolio, rates, and currency details, across multiple systems and products. You may also be responsible for completing data remediation tasks within the Global Markets client base while ensuring these activities occur within regulatory and internal risk parameters.
You will collaborate with IB&M and Market Operations teams globally to ensure a high quality of service to our Institutional, Corporate, Business Banking, FI/NBFI customers ensuring timely response to any enquires, complaints and issues.

Experience within corporate banking or global markets and will have some awareness of global markets products with some knowledge on international payment flows (SWIFT). You will be able to understand the general client management flow and experience and will be able to explain complex situations clearly and concisely.
