JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY:
This Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe facility/warehouse environment, adhering to established procedures and Preferred Work Methods (PWM).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean and sanitize spills of product, debris, or other foreign matter promptly and effectively.
Clean and sanitize warehouse surfaces, including floors, walls, racking, doors, and other structural elements.
Operate cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers, sweepers, walk-behind scrubbers, and other warehouse cleaning machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and other common areas.
Follow the daily sanitation schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a consistent and effective sanitation maintenance program.
Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred.
