The Infrastructure Analyst II will translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications that undergo business stakeholder review.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support and contribute to the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.

Support collection of business requirements using document analysis and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly.

Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.

Identify solution recommendations to business problems when given fairly well understood business needs at a business unit level.

Contribute to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective, and document findings.

Identify, elicit, and document user/project requirements, using appropriate modeling technique, if required. Analyze requirements and validate with original users, eliminating confusion. Outline verification criteria to ensure requirements are met. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout project.

Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.

Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.

Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues.

Contribute information and analysis to support the development and review of business cases.

Support a culture of innovation by contributing to solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration; help in setting up and monitoring idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons.

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Carry out specified audit activities and draft reports of findings, including recommended corrective actions, for review by the lead auditor.

Monitor and analyze data using budgeting systems and protocols.

Deliver stakeholder engagement activities to support the development of effective working relationships for projects and to identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns.

Leads facilitated sessions for requirements elicitation, focus groups, and user acceptance testing.

Identifies, sequences, and resources project schedules for timely completion.

Assists to estimate and manage the effort and finances to complete the work within budget.

Conducts audits, identifying exceptions, and developing specific solution or recommendations.

Identifies, acquires, and manages the resources for the project.

Manages the documentation, archiving, traceability, changes, and approvals of requirements throughout the project life cycle.

Identifies potential stakeholders, analyzes their expectations, and develops strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations.

Plans, identifies, monitors, analyzes, and prioritizes risks (threats and opportunities), creates response plans, and manages the risk if it occurs.

Assists to create, analyze and monitor budgets in line with organizational and project/program criteria; identify trends and forecasts.

Determines and analyzes trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making.

Conducts gap analysis between current and future states to identify components of the overall change strategy.

Understands business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure, cultures, capabilities, and processes to document the current state of processes and the business.

Assists to envisions and documents the future state of processes and products by identifying the solution scope, potential value of the future state, and the changes to the process, products, organization infrastructure, capabilities, and technology necessary to achieve the desired future state.

Interprets, contributes to, or leads business case creation with client departments to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.

Acquires, organizes, protects and processes data in order to fulfill business objectives.

Identifies, selects, and manages the oversight of business analysis work, including decision making, change control, prioritization, and approval processes.

Measures and reports on the status of milestones in order to deliver predefined project results.

Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent technical training/certification

Experience: Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months)

Managerial Experience: Very limited (0 to 3 months)
