1. Hands-on Feature Development
• Act as a core developer to build, enhance, and extend the AVEVA suite of products using AVEVA SDKs, C#, .NET, and PML under the guidance of the Aveva Technical Development Lead.
• Write, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code to create new features that directly support complex EPC workflows. Support UAT activities along with business users.
• Ensure all development aligns with overarching architecture, security protocols, and software factory standards. Work on development of integration touch points with aspentech ,SAP and other third party softwares /tools.
• Participate in data migration related script development and task automation
2. Troubleshooting and Code Maintenance
• Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within both existing and newly developed AVEVA code .
• Assist in root cause analysis on technical incidents and implement sustainable fixes to maintain operational stability.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to technical best practices for AVEVA customizations.
3. Product Collaboration & Execution
• Collaborate with the Aveva Technical Development Lead and Product Managers to understand technical specifications and business requirements .
• Apply a strong "product mindset" to daily development tasks, focusing on creating scalable, reusable code rather than one-off scripts .
• Actively participate in agile development cycles, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning.
4. EPC Industry Alignment
• Apply a good understanding of the EPC industry to ensure the developed solutions accurately reflect engineering, procurement, and construction realities .
• Support the enhancement of the "Digital Thread" by developing features that connect engineering data effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on development experience tailored to the AVEVA suite (e.g., AVEVA AIM, AVEVA unified Engineering, etc.) using AVEVA SDKs, .NET, C#, and PML .
• EPC Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) industry workflows, data models, and asset lifecycles .
• Troubleshooting Prowess: Experience debugging, reverse-engineering, and maintaining custom-developed code within enterprise systems .
• Product Mindset: Ability to think in terms of scalable solutions; experience working collaboratively in an Agile environment .
• Team Player: Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills to work effectively under the guidance of technical leadership .
• Experience Level: 3–5 years (or relevant level) of hands-on software engineering and development experience within the plant design or EPC software ecosystem.
