As the Head of Data and AI, your role is critical in providing direction and leadership in line with the Analytics department KPIs, including developing and implementing a strategic roadmap that aligns and supports the overall bank’s AI objectives.
In terms of leadership, you will be responsible for inspiring and leading a team of data scientists, analysts, and AI specialists towards achieving departmental and organizational goals. This includes providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development.
Your project management skills will be essential in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data and AI projects. This entails coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.
On the technical front, you should have a deep understanding of data architecture, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies. This expertise will enable you to make informed decisions on technology solutions, data pipelines, and model development that drive meaningful business insights.
Soft skills such as effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management are crucial for success in this role. You will need to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, build relationships with internal teams, and external partners.
In the area of campaign analytics, you will be responsible for leveraging data and AI to optimize marketing campaigns, target the right audience, and measure campaign performance. This involves using data-driven insights to enhance targeting strategies, personalize messaging, and improve ROI on marketing investments.
