WHY JOIN US?
We are seeking a commercially focused and detail-oriented professional to oversee the commercial and financial management of our Customer Service division across Asia. This role involves managing key activities such as month-end closing, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, while collaborating closely with Customer Service Managers to ensure accurate performance insights. You will also play a vital role in supporting knowledge transfer and process continuity as part of our regional succession plan.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
- Perform and coordinate month-end closing activities for the Customer Service division, including intercompany recharges, revenue recognition, cost accruals and journal postings.
- Maintain accuracy of project and cost centre reporting in the ERP system.
- Prepare and consolidate financial reports, forecasts and budgets, providing clear variance analysis and commentary for business review.
- Monitor and drive labour recovery and utilization reporting, ensuring alignment with business targets.
- Support financial performance management through analysis of key drivers such as cost, revenue and margin.
- Manage warranty and stock account reconciliations, ensuring system and physical consistency.
- Provide commercial support to Customer Service Managers, including interpretation of financial results and communication of business impacts.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams across Asia to streamline commercial processes and ensure data integrity.
- Support knowledge transfer from the Singapore Customer Service Administrator, documenting key commercial processes and ensuring smooth operational continuity.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely provision of data, explanations and reconciliations.
- Support other commercial and financial initiatives as required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g. CA, CPA) will be an advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial analysis, management accounting or finance roles.
- Experience in a service, engineering or manufacturing organisation preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Exposure to regional or multi-country operations is an advantage
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, highly proficient in Excel.
- Experience with other reporting tools such as Power BI, SharePoint and ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of management accounting principles, P&L reporting and month-end reporting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regional teams.
- Commercially minded with an interest in driving process efficiency and margin control.
