About the Opportunity

As The Digital Health Solutions Executive (DHSE) you will be responsible for driving the promotion, presentation, and sale of consulting services and IT solutions that empower healthcare providers – from public hospitals to private integrated delivery systems – to enhance cost efficiency, operational productivity, and patient care quality.
Acting as a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with a broader sales ecosystem, including enterprise account managers, dedicated sales ambassadors, and regional business partners (e.g., distributors).
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Proposal Development:
Lead the creation and delivery of proposals for consulting and IT engagements, designing and implementing business and technology solutions for medium to large healthcare organizations.
Project Oversight & Delivery Quality:
Ensure high-quality execution of deliverables, manage project teams and client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Market & Industry Insight:
Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and policy developments. Understand their implications for clients and tailor solutions accordingly.
Stakeholder Mapping & Relationship Building:
Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts. Research organizational strategies and KPIs to build strong, lasting relationships that support both new sales and retention.
Opportunity Pipeline Management:
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, assessing feasibility and aligning solutions with customer needs and expectations.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations from initial quotation through to final agreement, securing long-term commitments.
Strategic Account Planning:
Translate business insights into a multi-year strategic plan. Mobilize internal teams through influence and collaboration to execute short-term tactics aligned with long-term goals.
Resource Coordination:
Align Abbott resources to support strategic account plans, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and timelines. Foster team engagement through consistent communication and execution planning.
Customer Advocacy:
Act as the internal champion for the customer, leveraging internal relationships to advance business objectives.
Compliance:
Ensure all activities adhere to relevant quality system requirements and regulatory standards.
