Job Description

DUTIES:                               Provide technical leadership in developing test strategies and designing quality assurance practices; build, automate, and execute test scripts in SoapUI and ReadyAPI using Groovy and JavaScript; generate data for destination systems using different document structures, including JSON, XML, XSLT, and SOAP; write Oracle and SQL queries to integrate with RDBMS systems; troubleshoot production sessions using Kibana and AppDynamics; develop cloud solutions on Cloud Foundry, using service-oriented architecture (SOA) and JSON based structures; write queries for APIs using GraphQL; write scripts for APIs using Python; work with AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and Gateway; validate software solutions in various testing environments; collaborate with other engineers to identify, reproduce and document defects, bugs, or problems; maintain technical quality assurance and control systems and activities; utilize clearly defined standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products; assist product support areas in gathering and analyzing data; write and execute tests to validate products and software applications; contribute to the development of Quality Assurance test philosophies and methodologies; identify viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality; collaborate with product and development teams to identify product and technical requirements; review and verify requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification; ensure proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts;  participate in design, code and functional product reviews; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience building, automating, and executing test scripts using SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Groovy, and JavaScript; generating data for destination systems using JSON, XML, XSLT, and SOAP; writing Oracle and SQL queries to integrate with RDBMS systems; of which three (3) years includes troubleshooting production sessions using Kibana and AppDynamics; developing cloud solutions on Cloud Foundry, using service-oriented architecture (SOA) and JSON based structures; writing queries for APIs using GraphQL; of which one (1) year includes writing scripts for APIs using Python.
