Job Description Summary:

PayPal Developer Experience Engineering Team is looking for a strong
engineering leader. We’re looking for strong JavaScript skills and solid real-
world experience. We’re seeking candidates with a strong (node.js) server
background as well as those with more front-end experience (React.js). The
ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in hiring, building and
retaining top web talent, establishing scalable and sustainable architecture,
collaborate on the strategy and the roadmap by working closely with the
product, design and PMO organizations, besides web front end and back end
technical prowess and demonstrated experience building large-scale web
based software applications.

The candidate should have great communication skills and ideally past
experience working with a distributed team. Experience managing or
contributing to open-source projects is a bonus.
