U.S. Bank is hiring a Wealth Banking Services Solutions Manager to support our client servicing team. The team size anywhere from 8-20 individuals in either Portland, OR or Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise in trust and securities functions, proven people leadership experience, and the ability to balance resources, priorities, and risk as business volumes grow year over year.

Some responsibilities include but not limited too:

  • Lead, coach, and develop an operations team responsible for Wealth Banking Services client support

  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and development

  • Manage staffing levels, workflow distribution, and capacity planning to meet SLAs in a high-growth environment

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Oversee daily execution of client servicing activities, including:

    • Teller-type transactions

    • Wire transfers

    • Loan payments

    • Account opening and maintenance

    • Ongoing client service requests

  • Ensure operational processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation

  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and accounting requirements impacting Wealth Management and Securities Services

  • Maintain strong operational controls and documentation

  • Partner with compliance, risk, and audit teams as needed

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Wealth Management, Operations, and leadership teams

  • Communicate effectively with peers and leaders regarding performance, capacity, risks, and improvement opportunities

  • Support change initiatives related to growth, process optimization, and systems

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of experience in trust and securities operational functions

  • Three to five years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth Management & Securities Services business lines and clients

  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources

  • Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks

  • Additional one to three years experience managing Managers preferred

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
