Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Assistant Manager to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end supply chain operations across production, logistics, and sales functions, driving operational efficiency, responsiveness, and business profitability. It involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including regular communication with Korean-speaking stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and optimize supply chain operations across production, logistics, and sales to maximize efficiency and P&L performance.
- Identify and resolve critical supply and demand gaps through data-driven analysis and quick coordination with relevant teams.
- Manage and update supply chain master data to support accurate planning and efficient operations.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly forecast reports, highlighting key insights and risks.
- Maintain standard processes and documentation for demand and supply planning systems.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning models using historical sales, market trends, and promotional data.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to align forecasts for new product launches, transitions, and sales campaigns.
- Recommend adjustments to forecasts and inventory levels based on market conditions and business direction.
- Monitor inventory health and aging stock risks; support initiatives for SKU optimization.
- Manage materials setup and planning systems to ensure timely supply for new model production.
- Support regular inventory and forecast review meetings with relevant teams; ensure actions are aligned and executed.
- Track and report key SCM performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and stock coverage.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning, or Inventory Control, preferably in consumer electronics, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Korean and English is required to communicate effectively with HQ and regional teams.
