Job Description:

SCOPE: Leads the MBPCC abstracting team as a project facilitator and educator. Oncology Data Specialists Credential is required and experience with cancer registration, expected to participate in advanced registry activities, including assist with tumor registry specific CoC standards. Will independently perform abstracting for all cancer types.    

FUNCTIONS:

1.    Registry Activity.
2.    CoC Accreditation Compliance.
3.    Abstracting, Coding, and Staging.
4.    Education / Leadership.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree in an allied health field or post-secondary coursework in human anatomy and physiology required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3 years’ experience as a CTR in a CoC Accredited Program.

Oncology Data Specialist Certification (ODS-C) required.
