Job Description

Job Profile:

We are hiring a hands-on Delivery Manager for our Enterprise Integration team. Integration is a critical, shared service function in the IT organization, and nearly all our transformational programs run through this team. Our team is responsible for the IT integration platforms which support all our value chain activities, our G&A functions, and our third-party partners. In this role we are seeking an individual who can both lead outsourced development activities and be hands-on delivering integration work themselves. This is an exciting opportunity to play both a hands-on and a leadership role for the IT organization.

The Delivery Manager plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective delivery of IT work. You are responsible for driving processes, maximizing team efficiencies, working with business to prioritize requests, and facilitating collaboration across the organization. The DM operates at both strategic and tactical levels, supporting portfolio management, team activities, and system-wide processes.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery and support of our integration solutions and platforms. You will work closely with our third-party delivery partners to ensure we deliver solutions on time and with high quality. You will also work with business stakeholders across various domains to understand their integration requirements and drive delivery of solutions. Finally, you will work with Enterprise Architecture and the Integration Technical Lead to ensure we are following enterprise best practices when delivering integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDI integration, third-party integration with sales distributors, third-party logistics providers, and contract manufacturers. They will also have experience in outsourced integration delivery. Finally, the ideal candidate will have experience and exposure to managing and administering IPaaS platforms.

You should have integration implementation experience with a global consumer electronics or high-tech company and understand both systems configuration and overall systems architecture in an enterprise environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Lead an outsourced team for integration, focusing on execution, delivery, and managing dependencies, milestones, issues, and risks.
  • Prioritize competing requests, track key metrics, and report accomplishments.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, providing mentorship and guidance to the team.
  • Oversee work prioritization and resource utilization to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Drive operational excellence in the management of existing integration services and service providers
  • Collaborate with application delivery teams and product owners to understand requirements, ensure business needs are met, and provide solution direction
  • Responsible for working with Scrum teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions that address business demands and are aligned with corporate initiatives
  • Ensure that standards are adhered to, and that documentation and change control processes are followed across the applications organization
  • Enabling the support-teams to resolve production incidents involving integration to directly or indirectly ensure their timely resolution and recovery  

Hands on:

  • Deliver on integration solutions, either directly, or through our integration service provider
  • Provide functional and technical guidance for decisions made across our integration landscape
  • Govern integration standards and templates that will assure quality delivery

Required Competencies:

  • Ability to understand and speak to business challenges and the business processes that rely on integration is essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of the IT and application landscape, including interdependencies with business processes
  • Exceptional listening, communication (written and spoken), data storytelling and presentation skills with an ability to gain buy-in, influence and build rapport with partners of diverse cultures and levels of expertise
  • Change agent who excels at change management, is organized, detailed, and able to grasp and apply new concepts quickly and relay/implement within their team
  • Strong performance management of external vendors
  • Accountability for quality deliverables with urgency and attention to detail
  • Complexity management in broad organizations with competing priorities
  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, vendors, and consultants, to achieve common goals.
  • The technology landscape and business requirements are constantly evolving, so staying updated with emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards is essential for success

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of extensive experience using and administering EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and enterprise middleware platforms, such as OpenText, SAP PI, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in integrating with a large -scale ERP suite (similar but not limited to: SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or Workday Financials)
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management solutions like Kinaxis RapidResponse.
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of EDI standards, including X12 and EDIFACT.
  • Proficiency in using and managing API-first iPaaS platforms like MuleSoft or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience in developing integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
  • Demonstrated expertise in EDI integration with trading partners.
  • Experience with shell scripting.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and partners to ensure performance and results.
  • Proven experience in a global company with extensive third-party logistics and contract manufacturing.

The following experiences would be a plus for the ideal candidate:

  • Familiarity with the Salesforce Platform.
  • Knowledge of Big Data integration tools like Talend.
  • Familiarity with tools like Vertex and Swift.
  • Relevant certifications in integration platforms.
  • Knowledge and certification with Scaled Agile Framework.

Education/Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
