More about this role: The VMI Planner oversees and manages the complete the process, from customer orders being placed to the products being delivered to the customer. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely order execution while driving process efficiency across the supply chain
What you need to know about this position:
❖ Order Management:
1. Manages and maintains the customer's inventory replenishment levels and stock models based on approved schedule and agreed upon targets.
2. Monitors and analyzes utilization, product availability, pricing, and lead times to prepare VMI models.
3. Understands all VMI parameters, calculations and data feeds to accurately generate replenishment orders.
4. Develops reports to track all metrics and identify trends or issues that impact inventory levels.
5. Expedites and resolves any shipping, delivery, ordering or system issues that may impact expected inventory replenishment targets.
❖ Key focused areas:
1. Performance Metrics: Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), inventory turnover, and service levels.
2. Logistics Optimization: Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to improve order saturation and optimize truckload volumes.
3. Customer Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with customers to align on forecasts, promotions, and replenishment strategies.
4. System Maintenance: Utilize ERP/SAP systems to maintain accurate replenishment data and manage system parameters.
5. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in order management, logistics, or warehouse operations.
‐ Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
‐ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
‐ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
‐ Familiarity with logistics or order management software is a plus.
‐ Proficient in English and Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP
‐ Proficient in data analysis skills (Microsoft Power platform, SQL, Python, etc.)
