The Principal Architect, IT Transformation, Lead to Cash is responsible for the SAP sales commercial system solutions and functional design, providing leadership and coordination of processes across both IT and business stakeholders.  You will participate in design, configuration, build, test, and deployment activities for SAP S4 Commercial application stack.  Working with business analysts, you will interact with business stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements, with the end purpose of enabling innovative strategic solutions that address the business needs.  This position plays a key role in coordinating communication across various business groups, IT technical teams, business analysts, Enterprise Architecture, and vendors.

These responsibilities will be distributed across Projects and Release Cycles. Additionally, you will be responsible for the delivery of approved projects through the project management framework. In this role, you will partner with Business and Technical teams to understand the overall business need, work with technical partner to create high-level solution specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms. You will play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).

What you will do

  • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.

  • Responsible for designing and implementing SAP Sales and Billing solution to support Stryker’s Commercial needs.

  • Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within Commercial Landscape and application stack.

  • Review and Govern business process documents, application and technical specifications, test plans and cutover plans for go-live sites.

  • Collaborate with other Global ERP Program teams, IT Business Partners, Build and Run teams, IT Vendors, various Infrastructure teams, and Business Deployment teams.

  • Support run/sustain teams to solve new business needs and govern solution to be consistent with Commercial Global Template.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies. Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.

  • Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes

  • Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack

  • Lead and mentor Solution Analysts and IT vendor resources within the team and provide oversight and guidance/governance.

What you Need

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.

  • 8+ years of ERP/IT professional experience with ERP full life-cycle implementations, operation support and demonstrated project implementation experience required.

  • 8+ years of SAP project implementation experience in SAP Sales & Distribution, Billing (including Intercompany & Service), Consignment and/or Advanced Return management process. (SAP S4 Preferred)

  • In depth understanding of the SAP Application Architecture & Technology including S4/Hana preferred.
